I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker trained at the University of Toronto, with experience in hospitals, schools, research, and community mental health. My journey includes working with infants and their families at the Hospital for Sick Children, collaborating with artists and providing psychiatric services at Workman Arts and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), and serving as a clinical coordinator for children with autism and other developmental differences.
At Jeena, I focus on supporting children, teens, families, and young adults, particularly in areas where anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), neurodevelopmental conditions, and trauma intersect with school stress, family expectations, and social pressures. I utilize evidence-based approaches such as exposure and response prevention (ERP) for OCD, the STAND (Supporting Teens’ Autonomy Daily) ADHD program, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), all through a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and intersectional lens.
Having grown up observing how institutions schools, hospitals, families, and governments can both harm and heal, my work extends beyond individual therapy to partnerships with schools, universities, and community organizations. I prioritize ethics and power dynamics in clinical work, viewing clients as experts on their own lives. I bring clinical tools, curiosity, and a readiness to name difficult truths not a blueprint for how you “should” live.
